Bemerkung:   Das Farbdia zeigt eine Ausstellungsansicht von Michael Buthes Ausstellung „Le Dieux de Babylon“, die vom 27. Januar bis 24. Februar 1974 im Kunstmuseum Luzern zu sehen war. Es handelt sich um Dia 18/18 einer Fotoserie (JCA1BUTH008–JCA1BUTH025). Die Wände eines länglichen, spärlich beleuchteten Raums sind mit roten Tüchern behängt, darüber sind Gemälde an der Wand aufgehängt, die im Hintergrund zu erahnen sind. Sie werden von einer durchlässigen Gebäudekonstruktion aus Holzstreben im Vordergrund der Fotografie verdeckt. An einzelne Holzstreben wurden bemalte Papiere gehängt. Im Inneren der begehbaren Konstruktion stehen an gegenüberliegenden Wänden zwei Palmen. Auf der Mittelachse des Gebäudes liegt ein Baumstamm, von dem zahlreiche bunte Hölzer wie Federn ausgehen. Die Fotografie ist leicht unscharf. // The color slide shows an exhibition view of Michael Buthe’s exhibition “Le Dieux de Babylon,” which was on show at the Kunstmuseum Luzern from 27 January to 24 February 1974. This is slide 18/18 of a photo series (JCA1BUTH008–JCA1BUTH025). The walls of an elongated, sparsely lit room are draped with red cloths, above which paintings are hung on the wall that can be glimpsed in the background. They are concealed by a permeable building construction made of wooden struts in the foreground of the photograph. Painted papers have been hung on individual wooden struts. Inside the walk-in structure, there are two palm trees on opposite walls. On the central axis of the building lies a tree trunk from which numerous colorful pieces of wood extend like feathers. The photograph is slightly blurred.
